Don’t get your knickers in a twist…

 

Chewy, salty and bedecked with fennel seeds, these home made pretzels were good to eat alone or with the beetroot smoked salmon we shot them with. The fennel seeds added a delightful crunch and burst of aniseed flavour, so good. Resident knot expert Polly Webb-Wilson shaped these to perfection.
